Fourteenth: Designing a Wedding

On October 14th, 2017, my daughter, Brielle, will marry her love, Alex, in beautiful Richmond, Virginia. She asked me to help design her wedding.  We have designed for over 8,000 brides since our beginnings at Headpiece.com and every design we have created was created as though it were for family.  However, this time the bridal journey will be unique. This time it is with my daughter. Follow us on the Fourteenth of every month as we design a wedding with Brielle.

"Will you marry me?"

"Will you marry me?"

Brielle said, "Can't top tonight. Got a fiancé and a puppy." They named their beautiful golden Paisley.

Brielle said, "Can't top tonight. Got a fiancé and a puppy." They named their beautiful golden Paisley.

I am not sure who has dreamed about this day more, Brielle or me! I have such a passion for design and many times have said to my clients, "When I created this design for you, I created it as though it were for my daughter." I want them to know every design is created to perfection and as though it were for my own. The designer brain works 24/7. Already "in my mind" I am designing Brielle's attire and accessories for her engagement shoot, her wedding dress, her headpiece and veil, hair accessories for all of her bridesmaids, custom wraps for her bridemaids to wear while getting ready, jewelry, footless sandals for the dance floor, my dress, my mom's dress, the flower girl's dress and headpiece, a handmade flower girl basket and ring pillow, favors, the invitations, and a few unconventional things for the reception. Oh... the love of design! The challenge will be to enjoy this wonderful year of design with Brielle while also enjoying what I love to do every day... design for my headpiece.com brides and the retail stores we sell to. If only there were more hours in a day!

Next month on the Fourteenth:

Where will we have the wedding?...Will you be my Bridesmaid?
